Our Technology and Infrastructure team is looking for a curious, driven, and career-focused working student to support our Backend Development activities. You'll work closely with our Backend Developers, Frontend specialists and Designers to create a new platform for 4 million customers. What you'll build with them is not just another open-ended project, you'll build a tangible, secure and dependable product for our customers to use every day.

You'll be responsible for building and testing a unified / consistent API for banking products and backends (RESTful API) as a part of the banking platform, integrating existing and new APIs in collaboration with other teams for websites and mobile apps, building and improve a continuous delivery pipeline on state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure, and developing and maintaining a comprehensive test suite for your API product.
For this position, you must be a student (Bachelor or Master) working on a degree in Computer Science (or the equivalent). You should be experienced in working with APIs and PostgreSQL or any other SQL database. You should be familiar with Kotlin, Java or other JVM based languages. You need to have strong communication skills and be able to convey necessary information effectively. You should be interested in working with Docker and Redis, as well as learning the DevOps-mindset (responsibility and drive to actually release and operate a product). You need to have gained first experiences working in professional teams, and be willing to work in a hands-on environment. Finally, you must be fluent in English, and having some German would be a big Bonus
