Business (Finance, HR etc.)
Code Factory is the corporate startup of Deutsche Kreditbank AG located in the heart of Berlin.
Our Mission: creating tomorrow’s banking! By developing and realizing sustainable solutions for DKB customers, we’re transforming DKB from a financial institute into an agile IT company with a banking license.
We’re always looking for new ideas on how to make banking better and make a real difference in people’s lives.
For us, digitization does not mean replacing employees, but rather making them ready for the future and the challenges ahead.
By constantly developing new ideas, we not only provide our customers with the best possible service, but also support DKB in faster implementations of their social projects. From windmills to kindergardens or hospitals - our work has an impact on our society, which motivates us every day.
We believe in people development and lifelong learning. That’s why we like to experiment with new technologies and methods. Our team consists of 40 people from 18 nations. 40 curious people, that work towards a common goal and empower each other.
We are not afraid of failure, we just never do some ;) we learn from experiences and try to become better every day - true to the motto: “Trial and Error”. Even if our new recruiting campaign says something different ;)
As a Project Manager at the Code Factory, you'll be a cornerstone of making things happen. You'll make sure that the project will be realized in time and quality as expected. Sound familiar? Well, then add a dash of your skills change management and communication. By working closely with our founders team, it will be about you to start an agile project by combining forces of DKB and Code Factory. This is one of the first. And it's big.
You will be responsible for time and resource management, and maintenance of projects by establishing processes, standards, and methods to be used. This means you will coordinate the project planning, tracking, collecting and documenting the project progress, and providing reports and presentations to executives.
It also means that you work directly with the founders and support them in their daily work.
Did you finish your studies? Have you worked with Startups or even FinTechs already? Cool, but both aren't mandatory.
If you are great at presenting, but you know that active listening is even more important, then you already have one of the most important skills. You should be structured, analytical, reliable & honest in your approach and have some experience working in an agile work style. You should know the basics of change management and know how to balance resources and different kinds of professional backgrounds. Furthermore, you should be able to handle Confluence and Jira. You must speak both English and fluent German. Yes, German is hard but it’s a must for this position. We know, we know... Of course, you are open-minded and a team player. Bonus: you have FinTech or Corporate Startup experience
We offer flexible working hours, as well as a self-improvement and advanced training budget. We do Team building events together and you can choose your own hardware, and drinks, for that matter. As a bank, we also provide a Prepaid Credit Card for your personal shopping trip every month. While it's boring, we also have an insurance plan for you - but because you get discounts on a gym membership (Urban Sports Club), we hope you stay fit and will never need it ;)
Our office is located in Berlin's vivid FinTech community with great activities at H:32 (next to Train Station Berlin Zoo), which offers a great work environment - and so does our team.
Last but not least, we offer a competitive salary with 30 days of vacation a year.
