廣告/Marketing agency…做大定做細好?

相信大家都聽過「有大食大」呢句說話,當套用喺廣告/Marketing agency身上嘅時候,呢句說話又啱唔啱使呢?筆者今次就綜合自身經歷同Guru Online嘅訪問(就快出街,等多陣),同大家拆解吓佢哋想請啲咩人,公司本質又有咩分別!

筆者一直都覺得廣告呢行好有趣,好似可以做唔同嘅brand、見唔同嘅人,又唔使成日都坐喺office,所以想當年都見過好多間大大小小嘅agency,而其中一次嘅interview就令到我學到啲嘢。(當然最後都係冇offer啦😢)

👨🏻‍💻:你覺得自己可以帶到啲咩畀我哋?
😐:hmm…我覺得自己都幾creative,而且中英文水平都唔差,相信會fulfill到作為Social Strategist要嘅creative mindset。
👨🏻‍💻:咁如果我而家要你幫個客開個GA account,你做唔做到呀?
😕:err…
👨🏻‍💻:咁你識唔識幫個客set up GTM呀?
😢:err…唔識…
👨🏻‍💻:其實我覺得你係有potential嘅,但就係差啲硬件同經驗。我哋始終係細公司,冇咁多時間做training,所以每個人一埋位就要識做嘢。如果你真係有興趣入呢行嘅,最起碼都上哂啲online course先,如果唔係你得把口講話有興趣,其他公司都唔會知你講真定講假。

經過呢次interview之後,筆者明白作為白紙一張係冇乜可能入到細agency,亦都意識到裝備自己係有幾咁重要。

對細agency嚟講,每一個headcount都好珍貴,就算你幾有potential、幾鍾意間公司都好,有啲嘢你唔識就係唔識,而人哋都唔會得閒教識你所有嘢,所以你怪就只能夠怪自己唔夠經驗同準備。

咁至於大agency又點呢?有名你叫「大」agency,一句講哂:疊水囉!所以好多大agency都好歡迎fresh grad,因為佢哋有好多資源去train新人,就好似Guru Online咁。

所以Guru Online嘅Associate Account Director阿Tom都話,只要你肯試、有創意、又識同人溝通,都一定會考慮,當然都要睇你有冇potential啦。

一旦你入咗大agency,就一定會有個senior教你做嘢,可以一步一步慢慢學嘢,唔會好似細agency咁,好多時都要一腳踢。

每間大agency都有佢嘅唔同,有啲可能你會覺得做嘢好死板,有啲就可能會下放權力、還政於民,等junior同事都有say。(當然好多時都會係前者啦…)

講咗咁耐,其實大細agency都各有各好,至於你追求嘅係啲咩,就只有你自己先會知道,仲心大心細嘅你,不如試吓寫個「條件」list出嚟,睇吓上面嘅條件係咪缺一不可,係的話,就跟住張list去搵啦!
